The Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has once again been bestowed with an award of excellence by the management of an online Television series, Hafisu Tv.
The award ceremony was part of the activities lined up for the launching/unveiling of the online Television station in Ibadan.
Speaking at the event which was held at the broadcast media station office located at Oke Itunu, Mokola, Ibadan, the Chief Executive Officer of the station, said the station decided to honour Hon. Ige based on his past track records and immense contributions to the government of Engr Seyi Makinde in the area of promoting tourism and cultural values in the State since his assumption of office.
Responding, Hon. Ademola Ige congratulated the management on the launching of the online station, stressing that Nigerians will be proud that something different that will create an amusement for them digitally has been added online.
Ige who described the award bestowed on him as a challenge that would spur him to do more within his capacity, urged the broadcast media to impact positively on the people’s lives by dishing out information that will promote good policies and harmony in the society.
Others that were awarded alongside Hon. Ige included the Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Sahib Oladayo, a community leader at Kuola Aba Panu, the Chairman Solat Telecom among others.
