Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, redeploying Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni as the Commissioner for the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
The redeployment was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
Under the reshuffle, Alhaja Sanni takes over from Hon. (Mrs.) Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment as commissioner.
Governor Makinde thanked Mrs. Balogun for her service and contributions to the development of Oyo State, wishing her success in her future endeavours.
Alhaja Sanni previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion between 2019 and 2023 before she was redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023.
She was later assigned to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives before her latest redeployment.
According to the statement, the cabinet reshuffle takes immediate effect.
