Oyo state Governor , Engr Seyi Makinde on Thursday presented
28 brand new eighteen-seater buses to students of tertiary institutions across campuses and student bodies in Oyo State.
He also announced the signing of the 2024 Scholarship and Bursary for students in the state.
The donation of the buses marks a significant milestone in the governor’s commitment to improving transportation and access to education for students in the state.
This initiative comes as a fulfillment of Governor Makinde’s promise made during the campaign period to provide buses for students.
Governor Makinde assured the students that all necessary technical procedures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and hitch-free process
Hon. Victor Olojede, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, commended Governor Makinde for this remarkable achievement, describing it as unprecedented in the history of Nigeria
