Ex- Oyo Commissioner Professor Afonja Hails Oyo Electorates for Rewarding Governor Makinde, PDP

Former commissioner for Works and transport in Oyo state,Professor Abdulrahaman Raphael Afonja has congratulates Governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy Barrister Bayo Lawal.

Afonja who also congratulated the elected members of the House of Assembly under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party said the electoral victory is a reward for Makinde’s dogedness and welfarist government.

In a statement signed by him, Afonja said , “Even with all the permutations, lies and unholy alliances against Makinde, the peple of Oyo state disappointed them by giving Governor Makinde’s led PDP massive vote during the election”

He also commended the electorates, party stakeholders, leaders and others for acknowledging and rewarding Gov Makinde’s effort.

He maintained that Governor Makinde’s quality leadership and commitment to the advancements of Oyo state is yielding positive development and i am sure that Omitutun 2.0 will bring more beneficial.

Afonja also urge the elected lawmakers to ensure harmonious working relationship with the executive arms of the government and make oyo state a place of pride.

While seeking for more support for the governor, party chieftain said People should continue to pray for the governor and his team in his bid to take Oyo state to a greater height.
