There seems to be end in sight to crisis rocking the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology  (LAUTECH) jointly owned by Oyo and Osun  governor of the state Oyo and Osun met  in Abuja to discuss the way forward

The meeting between Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde and his Osun state counterpart, Alhaji Gboyega  Oyetola was facilitated by the Chairman of the school’s Governing Council   Professor Oladapo Afolabi.

 

At the meeting it was agreed that they set up a 10-man committee to look into the issue of joint ownership and proffer lasting solutions.

The two states have been exchanging banters in recent times over the issue of funding

Also some  staff of the institution who are indigenes of Oyo  state have been asking the government of the state of Osun to quit and allow Oyo state to solely run the institution
