Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed a former member of the House of Representatives, Busari Olayemi, as the Director-General of the Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
Before the new appointment, Olayemi served as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs to the Oyo State Government.
He replaces Mr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji as Director-General of the Abuja/Lagos Liaison Office.
In a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba (Dr.) Segun Ogunwuyi, Governor Makinde congratulated Olayemi on the appointment and urged him to discharge his duties with dedication, commitment and loyalty to the state.
The statement noted that the appointment takes immediate effect.
