Makinde CoS, Ogunwuyi Visits Motherless, Blind Centre and Lepers Colony

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi has distributed gift items like bags of rice, toiletries, chickens, goats, drinks, cash among others to less-privileged homes in Ogbomoso zone of Oyo State.

The beneficiaries include; the Nigerian Centre for the Blinds, Kersey Children’s home and Lepers Colony.

Addressing the homes at their various locations visited one after the other, Otunba Ogunwuyi reiterated that the gesture is in keeping with the Makinde led administration personal resolve and commitment to make dividends of democracy available to all citizens of Oyo state during, before and after the yelutide season.

While thanking God for his grace upon his life and government,  Otunba Ogunwuyi also promised have the interest of the ordinary people and carry them along in governance.

He further assured that his office through complementary roles in governance will continue to better the lives of the vulnerable groups in the society adding that the philanthropists, the organized private sector and government are enjoined to continue catering for the downtrodden

In their separate responses, they hailed the PDP Chieftain for being a father of the fatherless, nothing that this was not the first time he had empathise with the vulnerables most especially motherless children at Kersey Children’s homes, Lepers Colony and Nigerian Centre for the Blind all in Ogbomoso.
