Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC has extended the submission of candidates list to march 23, 2018.

The decision according to a public notice signed by OYSIEC chairman Mr Jide Adeigbe was due to the complaints, pressures and agitations from various stakeholders including the political parties, on the clarity of ward delineation boundaries.’

‘This will enable parties to understand and know the boundaries/delineation of the wards in the newly created LCDAs’.

He however mainatianed that the Local Government Elections slated for May, 12th 2018 remained unchanged as (OYSIEC) will not grant any further extension please.
