The gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in Oyo state, Engr Seyi Makinde has debunked the statement attributed to Gov. Ajimobi that God revealed Mr Adelabu to him as the candidate of the APC.

Makinde, in a statement from his campaign office and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade said that Ajimobi was pressurised few moments to the party primaries and forced to announce Adelabu by people from Lagos who are interested in managing our tax regime, make huge profits and cart them away to the detriment of our welfare as they are doing in Osun and Lagos States.

It is a notorious fact, the statement said, that Ajimobi is more comfortable with a different contestant but he was not in a strong position to go against the wishes and desires of those who have made him to serially compromise his position as governor in the past 7 and a half years.

The statement said that for the avoidance of doubt. Alpha Beta, a company owned by the National Leader of the ruling party is poised to upgrade its fleecing of our common heritage and that is not going to happen here.
