LAUTECH Students Block Varsity Gates,Demands Reinstatement of Suspended Students.

Some group students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso today protested  against the the expulsion and suspension of their colleague by the management.

The protest was led by some members of  of National Association of Nigerian Students NANs in collaboration with National Liberty Vanguard , NLV, NAUS and others

12 students including the son of the immediate past SSG to Osun state government Moshood Adeoti were expelled and suspended for engaging in violence activities in the school

As early as 6:30 am, main entrance and other gates that led to the schopl premises have been shuts preventing workers and students of the institution from entering the school

Their demands  according to an inside source is immediate reinstatement of tsurpriseended and expelled students of the institution especially those in their final year.

Efforts by the president of the Student Union Government to calm them down was rebuffed by the demonstrating students.

Those having exams today were unable gain access to the school premises as at the time of filling this report.

Some of the students who spoke with our reporter said they were suprise with the development because they were not communicated about the protest
