The issues within LAUTECH reminds this writer of comedy of tragedies. Has I passed through the school and walked in company of a scholar yesterday, it was a painful excursion of emptiness and the loneliness that walks tall when human fails in their frailty to solve man-made problems. The current crisis needs to have its full cycle. When it expires, LAUTECH will return to where it belongs: the glorious days!

I was not touched by the absence of activities, because, the tone of the current situation is not betrayed by the realities on ground. But rather saw the slam of great disrespect for educational pursuit in preference for politicized citadel, and aroma of derogatory stance for the generation now, and generation next.

By the time LAUTECH recovers from its present predicaments, it’s wounds would heal in the womb of time and it’s reparation paid in war of words, and balm of continuity as consolation.

The issues in LAUTECH are constant reminder of the fact that great men become small when they stand in the way of other people’s progress. The youths have not failed this generation. The elderly needs to have a second look. The crisis is strong enough and back–up by complex misinterpretations and wrongly deployed perceptions. The approach murders everything else on the path to logical conclusion. Only views.

Though man is an economic being, his motives are always geared towards self-survival and the greed to monopolise his economic space, even beyond his time. There is a demise of solution in sight. Only extra ordinary circumstance can bring extraordinary situation under control.

There are issues beyond what some of us who are observers and public commentators can see. Though I do not eke my living within LAUTECH, I revel in the honour and the fact that LAUTECH places Ogbomoso on global cities with at least a university. I love the Land of The Valiant.

Pathetic, this writer was rather shocked to see how time worsens situations. How humans stand akimbo has glory waned for infamy. The days and years of its glory and fame echoed in the silence of the old trees muddled by the deafening flowery of the weeds. LAUTECH and its past are Siamese twins. The past, is where LAUTECH belongs. The present is not enviable.

Against history, the present players in the fate of LAUTECH, will not have answers for the generations unborn. Frankly, memory
is a wonderful thing, if you don’t have to deal with the past. LAUTECH, this too shall pass!
