There are clear indications that the seven month industrial action embark upon by the academic and non academic unions of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology will soon be over as the proprietors of the state on Wednesday meet in osogbo to discuss issues how the problems will be finally solved .

Olowofela and Special Adviser on Education to Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Dr Bisi Akin Alabi reporesented Oyo state while Osun was represented by state Deputy Governor, Otunba Grace Titi Laoye-Tomori who doubles as the acting Commissioner for Education
A source at the meeting told our reporter that some issues bothering on the crisis rocking the instutions were discussed as well taking some useful steps that will hasten the reopening of the institution,
Meanwhile Senator Abiola Ajimobi will be meeting with some members of the National Association of Nigerian Students NANS and other student body to discuss the way out of LAUTECH crisis on friday in his office
It would be recalled that a group of joint students on Monday threatening to hold a mother of all rally in Osogbo and Ibadan to further agitate their demands for reopening of the institution.
