LAUTECH Management Review Sanctions on Suspended Students

Following the intervention of the student Union Government and other stakeholders, the management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has review the sanctions on the students indicted for student Union post election crisis .

It would be recalled that 12 students including Olatubosun Adeoti, Son of the immediate past SSG in Osun state were expels by the management for violating the school laws.

An inside source told our reporter that the student union government led by Abiodun Oluwaseun and other stakeholders were able to convince the management to review the status and reduce the sanction.

According to the source, the suspension was reduced to Two semesters while the expulsion was reduce to 4 semesters and those with valid argument were freed.

It was also gathered that a letter has been sent to the affected students to that effect.

Meanwhile the academic Staff union of University ASUU, LAUTECH chapter of the University has commence a warning strike over the non payment of 10 months salary and poor funding of the school
