Friends of late Chief Adebayo Alao Akala on sunday pledge their unalloyed support to his Son ,Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala a member of House of Reps

Alao Akala, a retired police officer and former Governor of Oyo state died on January 12 2022 at the age of 72.

Lamiju Akala who was elected into the House of reps during the last National Assembly election host friends and father’s political allied in Ogbomoso

The three days thanksgiving event which started on Friday at the central mosque Ogbomoso ended at Opadoyin Akala’s lodge where he hosted people after a Thanksgiving at First Baptist Church Okelerin, Ogbomoso

In his shor speech. LMJ said he appreciates the love and support for his late dad and him especially by the people of Ogbomoso and Alao Akala’s political dynasty and promises not to betrayed the confidence reposed in him

Some of his father’s allied who spoke at the recption including Samson Adegoke, maigida and Alhaji Mosur Ejide said they transferred the love for Alao Akala to Hon Lamiju because of Akala’s genuine love and interest in Ogbomoso

” Even before Lamiju told us he wanted to contest for House of Reps, we have concluded plans to support him for anything he wanted to go for, those who later came to us were told the truth that we have taken side one of them left the party but we never renege on our decision.” said Monsurr Ejide
