Ladoke Akintola Memorial Lecture Holds January 25 in Ibadan

The 2024 edition of Samuel Ladoke Akintola Foundation Memorial lecture has been scheduled to hold on Thursday 25th January.

Late  Samuel Ladoke Akintola, the Ogbomoso born  former Premier of Western region was killed during the January 15 1966 coup in Nigeria.

The lecture and award ceremony will hold at the House of Chiefs, parliament Building, Government Secretariat Agodi Ibadan.

Dignitaries expected to grace the ocassion includes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde, state Governor’s among others.

Mr. Yemi Adedokun, the Foundation chairman in a statement signed by the PRO Remi Oladoye said
Professor Muyiwa Popoola, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University Oyo and Hon Dotun Oyelade, Oyo state commissioner for Information will present papers while Oloye Lekan Alabi and Alhaja Mulikat Akandae Adeola are the father and mother of the day.

Amb Yomi Akintola,  the eldest son of the late premier  is the Chief host
