Ladoja, Ibadan Oba’s, Mogaji’s, Others to Attend Oba Tiamiyu Oladipupo’s Eight Days Firdaus

The city of Ibadan is set to witness gathering of prominent indigenes as they prepare to attend the forthcoming eight-day firdau prayer of the late Alaba of Abanla in Oluyole local government area of Oyo State, Oba Tiamiyu Labiyi Oladipupo.

Recall that the late monarch, who died on Tuesday at the age of 104 was laid to rest in Abanla, Oluyole Local government, Ibadan.

Oba Oladipupo, was said to be the oldest king among Baale’s that were just elevated to the status of Oba by the Oyo State government.

The firdaus event, scheduled to hold next week Wednesday 14th August at Prospect high School, Abanla will bring together dignitaries, traditional leaders, and community members to pay their respects to the late monarch.

Among those expected to attend are the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Sen. Rashidi Ladoja, Royal Majesties, Chiefs, Mogajis, Royal Highnesses, Baales and several VVIPs.

Others expected at the event are notable Islamic scholars and clerics, who will lead the Fidau prayer and deliver eulogies in honor of the late Oba Oladipupo.

The late Alaba of Abanla was a respected and beloved leader, known for his wisdom, kindness, and contributions to the development of Abanla and Ibadan.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his people, and the forthcoming Firdau prayer is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate his life and legacy.

The eight-day Firdau prayer is a significant event in the Islamic calendar, marking the end of the mourning period for the deceased.
