Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has dissolved the state executive council.
The dissolution takes effect from Thursday January 18, 2018.
Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants were also affected.
Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, made the announcement in a statement issued in Ilorin on Thursday.
The governor directed the commissioners to hand over to the permanent secretaries of their various ministries. He assured residents of the state that measures have been put in place to keep government running until the reconstitution of the state executive council
Governor Ahmed thanked the former executive council members, special advisers and assistants for their valuable service and contributions and wished them well in their future engagements.
