Jubilation in Ajaawa as Detained Indigenes Released, Reunited with Their Family

There was a wild jubilation in Ajaawa on saturday as people that were arrested and detained in Police custody over the crisis which rocked the ancient community few months ago reunite with their families

Ogo Oluwa local government chairman , Hon Seun Ojo secure their bail and brought them to Ajawa on Saturday to renunite with their family

While addressing people, the council boss said “Today is remarkable and we are happy because innocent residents who were held captive at the police custody in Abuja are reuniting with their families after I secured their release.”

According to him, the past few months had been a hard one on the residents of the ancient town and her environment as a result of the unrest which led to many people fleeing the town and some were arrested and kept in police custody.

“The unfortunate crisis led to the untimely death of some inhabitants of the community as well as a police officer”

“I have been up and running for the past two weeks and infact had to fly to Abuja last week which took me out of other official engagements just to make sure peace is restored to the town. To the glory of God, I succeeded in securing the release of all arrested persons and they have been reunited with their loved ones.

“While I pray for the families of those who lost their loved ones, i want thanks everyone for their immense support and understanding and i want to urge the residents of Ajaawa to thread in the path of peace as they go about thier daily businesses.

Recalled that Prince Ade Master few weeks ago visited the community to access the extent of damage on his propertiee by the aggrieved youth and call for calm
