Chief Jimoh Aliu a prominent personnel in the Nigerian film industry is dead

The dramatist, Sculptor, Filmwriter, Playwright, and Film Director dies in the early hours of today shortly after meeting with his children in Ado Ekiti

It was gathered that the 93years old man met with the children and told them to be united and be at peace with eachother

An inside source said  had premonition of his death, he told them it is time to leave, that he has  done my path and it’s time to return to his creator after which he closed his eyes and had the last breath.

Chief Jimoh Aliu is a native of Okemesi Ekiti, in Ekiti West Local Government Area of the State was born on the 11th of November, 1939.’ in Ile-Obanla’s compound,

His father was Aliu Fakoya a muslim and Ifa priest who hailed from Asunlua Compound, Ijana Street, Okemesi Ekiti, While his mother is from Iloro Ekiti.

He attended “St Peter Catholic Primary School” situated in Oke Paadi street, Okemesi for his primary education after which his father being a Ifa priest taught him the art of divination and use of herbs.

He also learnt trades like bricklaying, tailoring and driving in Lagos Nigeria

SSA to Give Fayemi on Tourism Development  Amb Wake Ojo Lanre  while speaking on the development said said Baba Aworo demise is a sad development, I don’t wish he died in the next ten years because much of his contributions to the promotion of arts and culture as well as traditional institution is needed  but God knows better, may God grant him eternal rest
