Inside Abandoned LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex in Oyo

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital is one of the legacies of Otunba Adebayo Alao  Akala led Administration.

It has a central unit with many departments in Ogbomoso and an annex in Oyo town

Though it was commissioned before Akala,’s exit in office but some of the buildings including the some completed ones in Ogbomoso  and Oyo were abandoned  as the teaching hospital itself experienced serious  financial challenges due to what many tagged as negligence from the present administration.

The annex  in Oyo at the general hospital has not only suffered the negative side of nature it has also become  an haven for rodents, reptiles, and hideout for criminals.
