Politics is a game of number and in any democracy the opposition has its check and balance roles to play. These roles is expected to be constructive and in the general interest of the state.

However, the reversed is the case in Imo State, where the disgruntled opposition politicians are hell bent on destroying the state they wish to govern in the future.

The recent visit of the Executive Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Nzodinma to President Mohammed Buhari in Abuja gives an insight to the diabolical plots of the opposition politicians in the state.

According to the Governor while speaking with the state house correspondents’ opposition politicians and other disgruntled personalities of passively encouraging insecurity across the country and in Imo state specifically.

It is equally worrisome that politicians can be so evil to the extent of sponsor killers against the same people they plan to govern when having the opportunity.
But the good news to the people of Imo state is that they have gotten an experienced politician who is capable of steering the ship of the state to the promised Land. The Governor with the assistance of the federal government is leaving no stone unturned to see that the lasting solution is found to the incessant insecurity.

Security is the responsibility of all and in a situation like this everyone should be his brother’s keeper and support the Governor in his drive to rid the state of all forms of criminality.
