Late DIG Jitoboh, who retired in 2023, served as the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at the Force Headquarters. AIG Longe, on the other hand, retired in 2021 after serving as Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa State and Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Federal Operations, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.

In a statement issued on Saturday by Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP lauded the deceased officers for their unwavering dedication to duty, integrity, and significant contributions to the Nigeria Police Force.
