As a follow-up to the condolence message sent to the leaders and people off IGANGAN in Ibarapa North Local Government in Oyo State, Chief Niiyi Akintola SAN a frontline governorship aspirant on APC platform detailed a four-man team on a see for yourself mission and represent him in reaching out to the people , the leadership and the monarch of IGANGAN whose palace was razed in the imbroglio.

The sight according to Alhaji Adeniyi Oyekunle was horrendous and heartbreaking. Lives of vibrant law abiding citizens were lost which calls to question the readiness of our government to tackle emergencies such as the IGANGAN debacle even when an alarm had been raised by Col. Togun the head of Amotekun Corp that such incidence was imminent.
He recalled the case of.the Fulani kingpin Wakili who turned the locality to a war front collecting ransom on kidnapped citizens of the area. The case of a learned Agriculture academic killed in cold blood brought the whole matter to a head when Sunday Igboho intervened.
If the authorities had kept vigil in the area, the matter would not have deteriorated to the point that so many lives and properties would be wasted. Government failure admitted by the state authorities left too much to be desired.
