Professor Joseph Olowofela candidate for House of Reps Ido/Ibarapa Federal constituency in the last general election has congratulated Hon Yemi Taiwo whose electoral victory was upheld by the election petition tribunal sitting in Ibdan today
The tribunal had dismissed Olowofela’s petition against Hon Yemi Taiwo of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP
The former commissioner of Education Science and Technology in his reaction to the judgement said ” Even though, we subjected ourselves to electoral and legal pugilism , but I congratulate my brother, Hon. Oluyemi Taiwo representing Ibarapa East – Ido Federal Constituency for his victory and I wish him the best in the assignment ahead.
” I enjoined our supporters, both in Ibarapa East and Ido Local Governments to remain calm and embrace the current situation.
Winners never quit and quitters never win. Struggles Continues .He added.
A source close to Olowofela said the professor of Geophysics may not appeal against the judgement
