In thier efforts promote academic excellence and support the younger generations, the Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Boys Association has set up Students’ Welfare Trust Fund’.
The main function of the committee which was set up during the Annual General Meeting held on Monday 2nd October, 2023 is to see to the needs of indigent students of the school.
Members of the Committee included the immediate past Accountant General of Oyo State, Alhaji Gafar Bello.(Chairman) while members are National Vice President, the National Treasurer, Principal ICAGS 1, Principal ICAGS 2, and Principal ICAGS junior school
The President of the Association Dr. Morohunkola Thomas who informed members of the efforts being made by the Association to bring back the old glory of the school pointed out that the recently held Prize Giving Day was one of many steps being taking to restore Academic excellence in the school.
He however appreciate members for their support and urged them not to relent In using there contribution to the advancement of the school and the students.
The General Secretary, Pastor Solomon Oladokun while giving the report of last year hinted that part of the activities held last year included the 63rd founder’s day Anniversary, furnishing of newly donated library, the students exams Preparatory class and the recently held Prize Giving Day.
The Treasurer, Elder Funsho Adedokun also shared the Financial report for the year.
A former President of the Association, Honourable Nathaniel Agunbiade called on the Executive members of the Association to make subsequent Prize Giving Day of the school open to all parents to attend which according to him will in a way motivate their children for better performance.
Members of the Association in thier contributions commended the Executive members for the good work done so far.
The AGM was attended by Members of the Association across various sets from all works of life.
