The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege II, has expressed joy and confidence in the reign of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, ARUSA I, the newly installed 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Speaking after witnessing the historic presentation of the staff of office by Governor Seyi Makinde, the Soun described the coronation as a moment that goes beyond ceremony, symbolizing the deep bond between Ibadan and Ogbomoso.

“This historic moment is more than a ceremony; it is a testament to the strong ties of respect, shared heritage, and unity of purpose that have long existed between Ibadan and Ogbomoso,” the monarch said.

Oba Olaoye rejoiced with the people of Ibadan, expressing optimism that under the leadership of Oba Ladoja, Ibadan will record greater peace, prosperity, and development.
