According to Professor Adebiyi,  “ The support from the state Governor, Engr.  Seyi  Makinde enhances the manufacturing of the  machines and other projects  which had earned  the school full accreditation of some courses  denied for over 10 years

“ The last time the school got  special grant for accreditation and  projects was in 2009 or there about but we approached Governor Seyi Makinde and he gave us two hundred million naira (N200, 000,000) which we used to procure some of the equipment   needed for accreditation in some departments and renovated some buildings”.

The Rector, however urged both the federal and state governments to always patronize local content which according to him will enhance creativity and encourage researchers.
