Ibadan Poly Criminalizes Hugging, Indecent Dressings, Use of Tinted Vehicles, Other Inside Campus

The management of The Polythecnic Ibadan , Oyo state have released a new rule to guides moral conducts of the student while on campuses.

Violation of the new rules attracts  sanction ranging from  a semester suspension, rejection from classroom or hostel for erring nursing mother and impounding vehicles for any students using vehicle with tinted glass

According to a notice obtained by our reporter, some of the forbiding dressing and postures includes, Multicolored braid for female, coloured Hair style,Dread Locks, Speangled Hairstyles for male, Earrings for males cowries for female, unconventional wearing of fez cap, wearing of tattered jean, Micro/Mini dress, Crop tops/ Jump tops, off Shoulder clothers, bockless clothes transparent wears,
Bum shorts , Nose, mouth extra earrings sagging and tatoo.

Other sanction includes, Intimate open embrace, (hugging) openly sitting on each other’s lap ( opposite sex), Nursing mother or pregnant student residing in the hostel, nursing mother bringing children to classrooms, and student driving tinted vehicles in the campus.

The notice reads that : certificates of the Polythecnic Ibadan are awarded fo students who are found worthy in both academic pursuit and good character.
