The leadership of an Ibadan-based pressure group, under the aegis of Ibadan Mesiogo Movement has thrown its full weight behind the governorship aspiration of Engr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe who is vying for the Governorship position on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo State.

The Coordinator of the Movement, Barrister Olatunde Adeniyi and other members of the Movement at a forum unanimously endorsed Tegbe’s candidature, saying they are very optimistic that he would deliver good governance to the people of the state and offer himself to service.

The Movement further stresses that,Tegbe has all it takes to bring victory to his party in the state and appeals to all APC faithful within and outside the state to field the man who is capable of continuing from the good work of Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

The Movement however breaks their long silence that, Tegbe is an illustrious son of Ibadan who has long been paying his dues, urging members of the public who might have been in doubt or be ill-informed to ignore the rumour making rounds about the state of his indigenous lineage and further enjoins rumour mongers to stay away from Tegbe as the cause he is pursuing is beyond self, saying the ambition is beyond Joseph Tegbe as he would not only be the successor of Governor Abiola Ajimobi but would also take the state to the next level .
