The Ibadan Discourse Group, in collaboration with Friends of Yemi Farounbi, is set to celebrate the 80th birthday of renowned statesman and broadcaster, Yemi Farounbi, with a lecture themed “The Future and Challenges of the Nigerian Nation.”
The event will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at The Law Hub Hall, opposite Iyaganku Roundabout, Ring Road, Ibadan. It is scheduled to commence at 11 a.m
The lecture will feature Dr. Kayode Fayemi (CON), former Governor of Ekiti State, as the guest speaker, and Prof. Tunde Adeniran, former Minister of Education, as the chairman of the event.
This gathering promises to bring together thought leaders and policymakers to deliberate on Nigeria’s pressing issues and the way forward. The public is invited to attend.
