Eminent personalities from all walks of live on Wednesday converged in Ibadan for the maiden convocation of Ibadan City Polythecnic Ibadan
The event which was held at the school premises at Enenezery Bus Stop Off Alakia Isebo Iyana Church road, Ibadan had in attendance Olubadan of Ibadan Land Oba Saliu Adetunji , Aje Ogunguniso 1, Rtd Assistant Inspector General of Police Leye Oyebadan, Juni Music Legend King Sunday Adegeye, KSA and others
Former DIG Leye Oyebade while appreciating the institution for the awards said Education is the key to development and expresses happiness tha they are being honoured “we are happy we are honoured, we are Humbled at the same time”
Oyebade who maintained that Ibadan City Polythecnic is special, unique and extraordinary added that more support should be given to Ibadan city polytechnic to take it to a enviable stage and achiev outstandy successes.
The Ex DIG however thanked the chairman of the school and all the board members of the great institution.

He said, Polytechnic is a place where you practice whatever you have learnt unlike other institutions.
King Sunday Ade says; parents are always happy on the day of their children’s graduation, whether you play a sweet music or not they will dance to it because they are happy.
