Ibadan CAC Grammar School Old Boys Association Reward Academic Excellence With Prizes Worth N2m

The Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Aperin Oniyere Ibadan on Thursday held maiden edition of Prize giving Day Program for the students.

The program which was sponsored by members of the Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Boys Association (ICAGSOBA) was held to encourage the students on the need to perform well in thier studies.

Highlights of the Program were Cultural Display, Presentation of Prize Gifts to the the best students. Master Salawu Abdulaziz Adesuyi, the best student in WAEC in Ibadan South East  local government in 2021 session was awarded a cash gift of N50,000 and a new Android phone by the Association.

Rotimi Obe, Secretary Prize Giving Day Committee in a statement said best Student in Computer – Ayoola Heritage was also presented a prize gift of a new Laptop by the Association.

The statement reads further that selected best students in all subjects were Presented with gifts. About 116 students and teachers were presented with cash gifts, books, and other valuables worth Two million naira.

In his remarks the President of the old students Association, Dr. Morohunkola Thomas stated that the school is determined to produce more intellectuals in all discipline.

He maintained that the Association has done a lot for the school and that they will not relent.

The representative of the USA Chapter of the Association and one of the donors to the program, Elder Ayo Akangbe stated that the priority of the Association is to continue to do more for the school. He enjoined all members to do more to develop the school.

The Prize Giving Day Program that was last held many years ago was this year revived and sponsored by the old students Association.
