Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria and gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial candidate in Oyo state, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has promise to use his strength as a young man to accelerate the solid development laid by Senator Ajimobi if elected as a governor

Adelabu while featuring on a program in Freshfm105.9 in Ibadan on Saturday said he is confident of winning the election as the next governor of the state.

“Governor Ajimobi is 69, he has a limitation of which he could run around for the state, but as a youth I have the ability to run around at 49 and work for my people” he said.

He maintained that the incumbent governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is the innovator of new Oyo state while he would be the accelerator that will take the state to a greater height

Adelabu who scored Ajimobi’s administration 80% assured indigenes of a responsive and responsible government that will not initiate development without making life difficult or hard for people.

He added that some of hard policies of Ajimobi will be review and adjusted.

He said he has a seven point agenda which includes Education Agriculture, infrastructure, Health , Human Capital development and others.

Adelabu while responding to question on Ladoke Akintola University of of Technology, he said  use his position as governor to cede from joint ownership of the institution with Osun and transform it

” I will transform LAUTECH and restore its past glory during my time there will not even be one hour strike.
