In a rejoinder issued by him and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Thursday, Alhaji Kokosoko said he was appointed and installed as the Mogaji of Onilabu Kosoko family by HIM Alayeluwa, late Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso 1, the Olubadan of Ibadanland on January, 9 2017.

He clarified that, the allegations of mischief, insubordination, use of abusive language and threat to life of Otun Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief (Barrister) Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola are non-existing and fabricated allegations.

The rejoider titled: “RE: REVOCATION OF APPOINTMENT AS MOGAJI KOSOKO FAMILY, AGBENI AREA, IBADAN,” reads further: “By the letter dated 27th December, 2022, whereby the Council revoked the appointment of Alhaji (Chief) Waheed Gbolagade Kosoko, as the Mogaji of Kosoko Family.”

“For the purposes of record, Alhaji (Chief) Waheed Gbolagade Kosoko was not and never appointed as the Mogaji of Kosoko family or Kosoko Onilabu family, he was appointed and installed as the Mogaji of Onilabu Kosoko Family by HIM Alayeluwa, Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso 1, the Olubadan of Ibadan Land on the 9th January, 2017.”

“Be that as it may, the allegations of mischief, insubordination, use of abusive language and threat to life of Otun Balogun of Ibadan Land (High Chief Barrister Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola are non-existing and fabricated allegations.”

“There was never a time I disrespected, dishonored, used an abusive language or threatened the life of Otun Balogun of Ibadan Land (High Chief Barrister Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola.”

“Also, I was not and never in possession of two (2) different letters of appointment, as Mogaji Kosoko Family and Mogaji Kosoko Onilabu Family. After my installation as the Mogaji of Onilabu Kosoko family, on the 9th January, 2017, I was given a certificate to that effect.”

“Thus, I was installed as the Mogaji Onilabu Kosoko family not Mogaji Kosoko family or Mogaji Kosoko Onilabu family.”

“I was never invited or notified to defend the allegations wrongly leveled against me before,” the rejoinder concluded.
