Over 100 buildings including school buildings, apartments, shops and others were on Wednesday destroyed by the windy storm which also uprooted trees
In a statement personally signed by him, the All Progressives Congress APC party chieftain in Oyo state laments the loss of valuables to the natural disaster
He maintained that, “though the loss is enormous but we have to thank God that no life was lost”
“Presently i am not around , i am on a national assignment but i have assigned my aides to visit the location for on the spot assessment that would guide us in reporting the extent of the damage
While pledging support from the appropriate authority especially fedeal agencies, the chairman House committee on Information, National Orientation , Ethics and Value said that he would ensure quick responses to the victims .
Odebunmi reiterated his continuous support to the advancement of the constituency, Oyo state and Nigeria at large
