The former Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW in Oyo state, Alhaji Lateef Akinsola popularly called Tokyo has denied rumour making the rounds about his death
Controversy had trailed his rumoured death following posts on social media that went viral on the Internet.
It was rumoured that Alhaji Tokyo died on Friday evening during a brief illness
Akinsola while debunking the news on Sunday morning during a telephone chat on a live radio programme on Fresh fm , Ibadan ‘Agbami oselu’ said he is alive hale and hearty.
Earlier Alhaji Taye Ijoba Ajadi Ibadan had urge members of the public to debunk any information about Alh. Tokyo’s death.
“He’s alive, hale and hearty. May he live long.” he said on his Facebook post
Vidoes of him praying and relating with his family are currently trending on the social media to further debunks the evil rumor.
