How Top Civil Servant in Oyo Died A Day After His 52nd Birthday

Members of Staff of Water Corporation and the entire civil service in the state were thrown into confusion and mourning mood  last tuesday as  Director the death of one of the Director Mr Olugbade Benjamen Idowu popularly called Ob Noble  was announced few hours after he celebrated his birthday.

Late Olugbade who celebrated his 52nd birthday on  Monday February 1st died on the 2nd of February after a brief ilness.

The deceased was the Director, Finance and Accounts, Water Corporation of Oyo state.

According to the information obtained from Water corporation, the sad incident occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State after a brief illness.

He was born in Ibadan on 2nd of February, 1969.He obtained his primary School Leaving Certificate from St. John’s Catholic School, Eleta in Ibadan metropolis in August, 1982.

He obtained his Secondary School Certificate from Ibadan City Academy Ibadan in 1986.

He bagged his Bachelor of Science Degree from the Prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile_Ife in 1996.

He joined the service of Oyo state in the year 2000 and rose through ranks to the post of Assistant Director, Finance and Accounts. Until his final exit from this terrestrial globe, he served meritoriously as the Director, Finance and Accounts, Water Corporation of Oyo State.

OB,NOBLE as fondly called by close allies was dedicated, loyal, resilient, accommodating, friendly, devoted and a good ambassador.

He survived by wife, children ,aged mother brothers and sisters.

As a corporation his impact and input towards achievement of the statutory objective of the Corporation would always be remembered.
