Prince David Olawale Sefiu Oyebola, an American based businessman was on Tuesday announced as the next Aseyin of Iseyin by the kingmakers.
He was unanimously adopted as the next king of the historical town by the 10 kingmakers who voted in his favour at the iseyin palace
Prince Oyebola, the grand child of Oba Tafa Oyebola who ascended the throne in 1964 as Aseyin to 1968 would be crowned as the 30th Aseyin.
Recall that the Aseyin of Iseyin stool became vacant following the death of Oba Salauwudeen Abdulganiy Adekunle on 24th July 2022.
Findings revealed that about eleven princes from the three ruling houses which produces Aseyin contested for the throne and the choice of Oyebola was the next king came as a suprise to many because he was the least person .
The process was officially monitored by the officials of Iseyin local government area with the approval of Oyo State government and it was a hitch-free exercise
Prince Oyebola was born on 6th April, 1969 to the Oyebola-Adeyeri Royal family of Akando and he has been recording positive impacts in the lives of indigenes of the town before the present time.
He worked with various organizations before he relocated to United State of America some years back.
