Honourable Olaolu Akindele has been sworn-in as the vice-chairman, Ibadan North Local Government.
The swearing-in was conducted by the Executive Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Honourable Waheed Akanbi Adeniyi (Biro).
Honourable Adeniyi charged the new vice chairman to brace up for the new huge assignment of service to humanity especially the people of the local government and Oyo state in general, saying the confidence reposed in him must be justified.
Honourable Akindele who was elevated from the position of the Leader of the local government Legislative House appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde for the magnanimity.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chairman, PDP party stalwarts and the entire people of the LG area, said that he will not derail but serve to expectation.
Present at the ceremony were PDP stalwarts, councillors, members and career officers led by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Ibadan North LG, Alhaja Qudra Noibi.
