Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala, lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North,South and Oriire has called for urgent action on the caretaker seminary road in Ogbomoso

The poor condition of the road has caused untold hardship and serious traffic which lasted for days in Ogbomoso

During the plenary. LMJ as he is fondly called moved a Motion of
urgent public importance, titled “The Critical Need to Rehabilitate the Caretaker/Seminary Road in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.”

“The deplorable condition of this road has made it inaccessible and unfit for vehicle movement, thereby causing untold hardship for the people of Ogbomoso and Nigerians/motorists trying to access the Northern parts of the country from the South.”

“It is my hope that these steps in legislative process contribute to ameliorating our issues and make our country great again.”

The Senate had on Wednesday summoned the Minister for Works David Umahi over the abandoned Old Ogbomoso -Oyo road following the move by Senator Fatai Buhari, (Oyo North).

In another development, Hon Lamiju Akala donated Golf kits to Ogbomoso Recreation Club

Hon Olamiju Alao-Akala, a member of the ORC considered it his contribution to the uplifting of the Golf Section and as a way of developing the game in the city.

The president of the ORC, Dr Akin Oladeji Johnbrown commended the honourable noting his gesture would boost the game and assist rookies just learning the rope of golf.
