Member representing, jIbadan South West One, Hon Yusuf Oladeni Adebisi was among one hundred young Nigerians celebrated and honored by the Royal African Young Leadership Forum of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja the second.
Hon Adebisi Yusuf who is the youngest lawmaker in the history of Oyo state and presently the Deputy Chief Whip of the house was honored for his outstanding achievement in governance and politics at an event held inside the Oduduwa Hall, OAU Ile Ife.
By this award, Hon Adebisi has been installed as one of Ooni’s Royal Ambassadors and inducted into the Royal Court.
The imperial Majesty said Hon Adebisi was among the new crops of young Nigerians who are redefining governance, leadership and entrepreneurship, and are making waives in their chosen careers.
The Ooni maintained that the youth everywhere in the country has been at the epicenter of his royalty since ascending the throne as the Arole Oduduwa hence the establishment of the Royal African Young Leadership Forum,, adding that young Nigerians with amazing success stories like Hon Yusuf fall into the category of the Africans of the future.
Oba Ogunwusi congratulated Hon Adebisi on the award and urged him to continue to be one of the voices of the young population in the country by doing things differently, rightly.and outstandingly.
In his reaction shortly after receiving the award handed over to him by the Minister for Youth and Sports development,Mr Sunday Dare in the presence of the UAE Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Fahad Obaid Mohammed Al-Fattaq, the lawmaker dedicated the honor to the entire people of Ibadan South West One Constituency , the Oyo state government and the good people of the state.
Hon Adebisi said the honor will not only encourage and inspire him to continue to be a good representative of his constituents, it will also spur him to be forward looking as a young Nigerian politician.
” I am so excited and ecstatic by the recognition and honor bestowed on me and other ninety-nine young Nigerians by the Oonirisa and i will continue to inspire my generation and generations yet unborn for greatness” Hon Adebisi assured
The Speaker, Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon Adebo Ogundoyin, Hon Olusola Owolabi and the Oyo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr Seun Fakorede were among one hundred young Nigerians honored by the Ooni of Ife.
