Manchester United Coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has maintained that Dean Henderson has already proved himself to be Manchester United and England’s No. 1 (Goalkeeper) one day.
Solskjaer in his words believes Henderson has done more than enough to show that he has what it takes to make the step up as and when the club ask him to.
“Dean has made some great choices over the years and has developed fantastically,”.
“We’re looking at that in terms of where he’s going to be next season, but as yet that has not been decided.
“This season has proved a great experience for him, he’s done himself some favours with his performances, and proved he will be England’s No 1 and Man United’s No. 1 at some point.” Solskjaer said.
Nationalinsightnews.com gathered that The 23-year-old player has spent the last two seasons on loan at Sheffield United, first helping them to earn promotion back to the Premier League before starring on their charge towards an unlikely European place.
Henderson’s future beyond the end of this season – where he is expected to stay at Bramall Lane – remains up in the air.
Manchester United first goalkeeper, David de Gea still remains the first choice at Old Trafford and only recently signed a new four-year deal to put to bed any questions over his immediate future.
But Solskjaer is impressed with the strides Henderson has taken in recent years to put pressure on his starting goalkeeper.
