Dayo Adewole, son of the immediate past Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole was kidnapped at Iroko village, Afijio LGA near Ibadan in Oyo State.

His abductors kidnapped him in his farm at Iroko on Tuesday evening

The Oniroko of Iroko Olasunkanmi Abioye Opeola, Kurunloju 1 who alerted a radio station in Ibadan said effort is being made to rescue him

The monarch said hunters have launched a search party immediately and they have found the car of the kidnappers on the road to Iware another village not too far from Iroko village where the boy was kidnapped but Dayo and his abductors are yet to be located.

The Oba however appealed to the police and other security outfits to come to their aid .

It was later gathered that the Military, police and other security agencies have joined in the search for the abductors.

As at press time the abductors are yet to contact the family
