A group of young elites in Oyo State, operating under the banner of the ‘Professionals in Politics Forum’ has expressed heartfelt congratulations to Mogaji Joseph Tegbe on his recent appointment as the Director-General and Global Liaison for the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership.

The group in a statement issued by the forum’s Coordinator, Dr. Femi Olawuyi, and Secretary, Mr. Oluseyi Komolafe, the group commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering Mogaji worthy of such tasks

While applauding Tegbe for his extensive experience, expertise, and intellectual capabilities, “worthy and fit for the task.” the group maintained that “We are not surprised by his appointment; he is not just a round peg in a round hole, but a personality with an incredible pedigree and valuable credentials.”

” Our special gratitude goes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe as a deserving candidate for such an esteemed role within his administration.

They however express optimism that the distinguished Ibadan high chief would honor the trust placed in him and deliver on the expectations attached to his new responsibilities.

The forum urged Tegbe to leverage his new position to facilitate robust business and diplomatic relations between Nigeria and China, emphasizing the importance of fostering trade partnerships and cultural exchanges that would benefit both nations.

The profesional in politics encouraged him to take proactive steps in creating platforms for collaboration that would allign with President Bola Tinubu ‘s vision and yield developmental dividends for Nigeria.

Moreover, the forum highlighted the necessity of maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including government entities, private sector leaders, and international agencies. They stressed that these connections are vital to ensure comprehensive development strategies; ultimately enhancing Nigeria’s stature on the global stage.

The Professionals in Politics Forum reiterated their belief that under Tegbe’s stewardship, the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership can grow into a formidable alliance that bolsters economic growth, technological advancement, and social progress for the people of Nigeria.

They however expressed their unwavering support and confidence in Tegbe’s ability to navigate the complexities of international relations and drive significant initiatives that will enhance bilateral ties between the two nations
