The suspect, it was gathered, staged an invasion of his apartment when the victim visited and made it look as though his accomplices had kidnapped him and his lover.

The victim, a lawyer, was relaxing in the living room when the gang invaded and took her and her lover captive.

Unfortunately for Ahmed and his gang, the victim’s relative who’s an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) reported her kidnap at the IRT and operatives were immediately deployed to crack the case.

Police sources told the Nation  that investigation revealed Ahmed was married and had two children in Dubai, adding that he planned to keep Queen as his second wife.

Ahmed confessed, saying, “My ex-lover put so much pressure on me to marry her and I kidnapped her in order to raise the money I needed. I regret my involvement in the act.”
