The Chairman of Libra Build Mart, Omooba Babatunde Ologburo, has praised the Oyo State government for its impressive achievement of over N20 billion in Value Added Tax (VAT) generation for August.

In a recent statement, he credited the state’s sustained peace and development as key factors driving this economic success.

“The sustained development and peace in Oyo State are commendable,” Ologburo said, emphasising the positive environment created by government initiatives.

He noted that this economic boost reflects the confidence citizens have in the state leadership.

Ologburo also commended the government’s efforts to address disturbances that have historically threatened the tranquility of the region.

‘The evacuation and eradication of nuisances that attempted to disrupt the peace of our state is commendable,” he remarked.

“These actions have significantly contributed to making Ibadan an outstanding regional capital.”

Looking forward, Ologburo expressed optimism about future growth, particularly in light of Ogun State’s apparent disinterest in VAT generation.

“We have a unique opportunity to fill that gap and lead the way in economic development,” he stated, urging stakeholders to collaborate in sustaining and amplifying these achievements.

In a related development, Ologburo, one of the foremost philanthropists in Oyo State has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for redefining the Real Estate sector noting that the sterling performance of the present administration has contributed significantly to the development of the sector in the state.
