A five-year-old girl, Moriana Muruf ,is currently battling with her life after her neighbour’s dog attacked her chop off part of her scalp

The incident happened on Tuesday in Adagbada Arola area of Apete, Ibadan, Oyo State

It was also gathered that the dog also descended on its owner identified as Eunice Kolade while trying to rescue moriana

The dog bit its owner’s off her tongue and tore off a big chunk of flesh off of her face

Nigerian Tribune reported that the girl, as the usual practice, had gone to the dog owner’s house to greet and play with her, with the belief that the animal had been secured in its cage.

Moridiya was rushed to the Health Centre at Ajibode area, from where she was promptly referred to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan for emergency medical attention.

Angry residents killed the dog and the police has since wade in to ensure normalcy
