Gbajabiamila who represented Surulere Federal Constituency 1 was appointed as the Chief of staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu few days ago
The veteran lawmaker tended hi resignation after moving the first motion on the floor of the 10th Assembly under the leadership of Hon Tajudeen Abass.
His motion which was entitled the need to prepare to avert the negative effects of the forecast of heavy flooding in some parts of the country.
The resolution of the house on his bill was passed after which the speaker, Hon Tajudeen Abbas read his resignation letter and declared his seat vacant.
Gbajabiamila on his page wrote ” I have assumed my new office as the Chief of Staff to the President in readiness to work with Mr. President in delivering his Renewed Hope agenda for Nigeria
