The remains of the late Teslim Akinpelu, Popularly known as Gatuso who was killed by gunmen on Saturday night has been laid to rest in Ibadan .

Gatuso whose social media identity is Ajibola Olaleye is an ibadan based Socialite and young entrepreneur with a very strong network among who is who in Ibadan.

Meanwhile Oyo  State police command   has confirmed that he was shot by armed robbers in a hotel around Iyaganku area of Ibadan.

Akinpelu, died as a result of the gunshot he sustained.

The Public Relations Officer of the States Police command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, in his reaction, confirmed the killing of the socialite. Adding  that DPO of Iyaganku had commenced investigation into the matter.

He said that the armed robbers pretended to be lodgers before carrying out their evil intention.

Fadeyi said, “Teslim Akinpelu, aka Gatuso was shot dead by 4 armed men at Town hotel NTC Iyaganku at about 0045 hrs.

“They pretended to be lodgers before carying out their evil intention.

“Investigation has commenced into the matter by DPO Iyaganku.”
