The sad news was also announced by a former Commissioner for Education in Oyo State, Professor Joseph Olowofela, who took to his Facebook page to mourn the late politician. Olowofela described Adeola as a formidable political force within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“May the soul of Honourable Isiaka Adeola rest in peace. He was a two-term Chairman of Ido Local Government, Ido, Oyo State, and a two-term member of the Oyo State House of Assembly. He was a political ‘bulldozer’ of PDP extraction,” Olowofela wrote.
